"Donkey! You have the right to remain silent; what you lack is the capacity!"

Remember that desire to stop time that hits right before exam week
when you feel like you just can't get a handle on everything?

Multiply that by a few and you get graduate school exam week.
Suddenly everything matters a little bit more.
And the difficulty level has been raised along with the stakes.
Can you tell I like the
"Add Image" feature
on Blogger?
I honestly have no idea what it will feel like to be completely done with this semester. It flew by, and yet I have a hard time remembering how it felt before I was busy/overwhelmed all the time.

I'm kind of wishing I had a few days after finals here in Champaign to just enjoy it without deadlines, without papers to write, without children to therapize [yes, a new word, I'm a genius]. I can't wait to see everyone in FL again, but I'm also a touch apprehensive. It's been awhile and everyone will ask the "How are things going" question and want to catch up (as I do very much with them as well). But that answer is so chock-full it's intimidating even thinking about. I'll be coming down off of so much stress, I hope I can still function appropriately and
not just be a mess.

Welp, this blog has officially become familiar enough for me to start "type-venting". It's very therapeutic for me to type out my stress and disseminate it over the internet, but unfortunately, it doesn't make for especially intriguing posts. :-p Oh well, the newness and facade could only last so long.

That picture is amazing and creepy all at the same time.

I don't use this phrase all that often (ok, or really ever), but the first thing that came to mind was "What the hell?"

Okay, when I see you in Florida, I'll be sure not to ask how things are going. ;-) But I would like to say hi and, um, see how things are going.

Ashley, I was like "Wait, why will I see you in FL?" Haha. Then it dawned. Duh, sister of the groom!

And feel free to ask how things are going. I'm prepared to have to answer that question a lot and I'm ok with that. Maybe I'll just switch up which parts I share to keep it varied :) I'd love to hear how Paul and you are doing up in GA too. :)
