Every Day's an Adventure

It's usually good to know your bike brakes are wearing down prior to actually needing them.

I came quite close to becoming very uncomfortably acquainted with the side of a Jimmy John's delivery vehicle today. The look on the guy's face would have been amusing if I hadn't been so intent on not hitting his driver's-side door. I'm sure he had some choice words for me luckily enclosed behind his windshield.

Two blocks later I swerved to avoid a very dead, very small, once-cute black kitten spread out in the middle of Daniel St. :-/

Needless to say, I was a little tense getting into lab today.

On a better note:
Had a good session with my client today. I wish I could say more, but that whole confidentiality thing, you know. Did you know that Bo Jackson, Lewis Carroll, Marilyn Monroe, and John Wayne stutter(ed) as well as two well-known players for the Chicago Bears (who's names elude me at the moment)?

Sorry about your unfortunate bike-riding experience today. And I did know about those people....cuz I talked to my client about it today, too. :P

Yay for a good session! I think ours was the best one yet today...it felt a lot better to come out of it feeling more in control/accomplished.

Poor kitty :(

My daughter had a severe stutter when she was about 4 years old, took her (and us) about a year to fix it, still in high stress situations she reverts.

Hey, Bobby.

Thanks for the comment. Is this the Bobby I know from Florida or did you just find this post on a Google search? I'm always curious how people found me when they comment for the first time.
