So I come home to Michigan to visit with my family (first time all 6 of us have been together since Christmas).
Within the two days since I've arrived, Jim has poison ivy sores all over the place, Dan got his wisdom teeth out and is high on Vicodin (he woke me up in the middle of the night thrashing around because of a "spider"), Mom's got a nasty ear infection in her good ear (she's clinically deaf in the other), and Steve is celebrating just replacing his boot with a brace for the foot he broke skateboarding (and marvelling at the fact that his M.D. told him he looks like a dork when he walks) :-p. Dan went in the same time Steve did to get both his ankles x-rayed from a water-skiing accident that left him with an enourmous bruise near his groin and several torn tendons in his right foot when the rope got tangled, he was dragged under water (the boat driver accelerated, assuming Dan had let go), and his skis didn't come off.

I'm feeling pretty happy for my good health, and am kind of wondering what will happen next.
(A week after the waterskiing accident)

Also, you left your fiancee with pink eye in Champaign :-P
I'm starting to see the trend, you're the key to everyone's ailments.
Yeah I thought about that after I posted, but my mom needed my computer so I didn't edit it. :-p
Poor Amy and family. But I was thinking that while everyone is hurt and ailing, you could post a lovely blog about the engagement story :D Sorry, I am being such a girl, but I want details and pictures, and well the whole kit and kabootle. :) I miss you! Tomorrow we are heading to the Hett wedding on Saturday. Wish you were coming.
Oof. That all sounds very rough. Glad to hear that you're still healthy at least! I'm off to my lake house tomorrow and now will be on the look out for poison ivy (luckily have already done the wisdom teeth/vicodin thing and will not be skiing). :)
Yikes. You guys have been busy. I hope everyone heals nicely :)
Vicodin can make for an interesting few days...
Molly, I know I've been awful at getting back to you folks about that. I'll fill you in sometime this week, I promise (right now, I'm busy spending 12 hours a day sleeping making up for a summer of not much :-p).
Elena and Ben, Thanks :) People are starting to get better (which means Jim has been rubbing his poison ivy hands on me trying to get me to freak out :-p).
