The Devil is preaching the song of the redeemed.

My brother Dan had my family listen to this song over Christmas break. I think if I hadn't been sitting around the table with my entire family I probably would have wept, given where I was at spiritually and emotionally that week. It does a great job of capturing what the Devil so often does with a little piece of Truth, taking it, twisting it, and throwing it back in our faces, incomplete and terrible, yet still just enough truth to fool us into believing maybe he's right. I wasn't sure I was going to agree with this song until I'd heard it in full.

I feel like the song is more powerful without provided images, leaving you to your own thoughts, so I included the following link because it gives you the lyrics piece by piece as the song unfolds and that's helpful in catching the words, but keeps the pictures to a minimum.

I'd included this song in a requested play-list for the CD my grandpa wanted to make me for a Christmas gift. The CD arrived this morning and as I was listening through it, this song served as a good reminder of what's true.
