So I got sent home from my clinic assignment today. Nick was really nice and gave me a ride to McKinley where I picked up an abundance of different drugs. Seriously, I feel like a walking pharmacy. And the directions are all different. Do they really trust someone's fevered brain to be able to remember that? So I set up little slips of paper to remind me when to take each one with a place for a log to keep track. Nerdy? Quite possibly. Helpful? Most definitely.
Advil-every 4-6 for the fever.
Cough syrup-every 4 hours.
Amoxacillin -3x daily for what, I'm not sure.
Sudafed-every 12 hours.
Nasal decongestant spray -every 12 hrs for no longer than 3 days (something about rebound congestion)
That makes for a lot of foreign chemicals dancing around inside me. It also made for 6.5 almost uninterrupted hours of sleep this afternoon. That makes for one happy Amy.

I am sorry you are still sick. That is a lot of medicine. Hope you get well soon! Sorry, my brain is kinda half dead to be able to say anything
One happy Amy makes for a happy Nick. I'm glad you were able to get some sleep.
I did a little Youtube hunting for videos of kids taking cough syrup. This one was pretty cute.
Quite a bit of medicine to be taking, good thinking on the chart, nerd ;-).
Get well soon walking pharmacy.
Alex: thanks, and what's wrong with your brain that it's half dead (other than it being almost 5am your time when you posted).
Nick: Hah, that poor little girl! I feel her pain. I, on the other hand, would prefer not to cough all night, though I did seriously consider it).
Sorry you're under the weather! But sounds like you're in good hands with Nicky-poo :D
Be sure to drink lots of fluids!!
